Objective: Since the introduction of Observed Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) in medical education more than four decades ago, OSCEs have been adopted by a majority healthcare professional programmes, including pharmacy. This article aims to review best practices as well explore novel approaches use OSCE pharmacy education. Method: As with any assessment method, development stations starts blueprinting. Personnel involved are briefed and adequately trained, based on their expertise prior experience ensure efficient running help maintain reliability validity process. Conclusion: The assesses range clinical communication skills, yet it is resource-intensive requires extensive planning. However, must be considered an important essential means develop assess skills required graduates for safe future practice.
